Central Queensland Soil Health Systems

Peer-to-peer agriculture network, Central Queensland Soil Health Systems (CQSHS), has been in existence for over 6 years. The group’s objective is to invest in soil health to improve yield and environmental performance with a focus on building capacity to allow for informed decision-making.

Sustainable Table and the Queensland Government Department of Agriculture and Fisheries supported CQSHS by funding the development of a seeder to sow a multi-species mix of plants into their paddocks, fallows and interrows. The equipment is available for hire to members, progressing regenerative agriculture in the Mackay Whitsunday Isaac Region.
