Sustainable Table Fund
Projects.
We’ve been awarding food system grants since 2018, and together with our philanthropic partners have invested $330,000 into regenerative local solutions to a very complicated planetary situation. Like us, our grant recipients believe that the way we grow, cook, share, eat and talk about food can change the world, and we’re proud to show you all the delicious ways they’ve been doing so.
2021 GRANT RECIPIENTS
Based on the success of previous years, in 2021 we expanded our Victorian Community Grants Program from the Casey, Cardinia, Mornington Peninsula regions to also include interface regions of the Bass Coast, Baw Baw/West Gippsland, South Gippsland and Frankston. The 2021 grants round was discretionary, with applicants invited to apply that were known to Sustainable Table through previous grants rounds. From a pool of incredible applications, we funded 10 projects, totalling $97,750 in grants.
2020 GRANT RECIPIENTS
During our 2020 grant round (formerly Ripe for Change), we received 42 incredible applications. We wish we could’ve funded them all, but that’s not how these things work! It was a challenging review process but ultimately we funded 17 projects for a total of $132,600, and we’d love to share a snapshot with you.
2019 GRANT RECIPIENTS
During our 2019 grants round (formerly Ripe for Change), we received 45 incredible applications. It was a challenging review process but ultimately we were able to fund 12 projects totalling $101,500.
