Our books form part of our educational and awareness raising activities. They're books that appeal to a wide range of people, from food lovers with no clue about the impact their plate has on the planet right through to the most diligent environmentalists.
Our books share the stories of everyday people, celebrated chefs and farmers and producers so that we can gain a better understand of what it takes to produce food, and what we can all do to build a better food system for all.
Proceeds from the sale of our books go towards supporting our other national and international projects. You can read about our other projects here.
Join local food advocate Sarah Robins on a Seasonal Regional journey across Victoria, meeting the people who produce our food and exploring the challenges and joys of making a living off the land. This celebration of our food landscape takes in farmers’ markets, small-scale growers, cellar doors, rare breed meat producers, farm gates, heirloom fruit and vegetables, pick-your-own farms and more, giving an insight into how and where our food is grown.Featuring some of Victoria’s finest food producers and more than 80 seasonal recipes created by celebrated chefs and home cooks alike, Seasonal Regional will entice you to explore the glorious and sometimes obscure produce the state has to offer.
While The Sustainable Table focuses heavily on the environmental impact of our food choices, Seasonal Regional celebrates the people who work incredibly hard, often with little reward, to produce our food (although we've snuck in a few environmental facts and useful tips, of course) .

The Sustainable Table Cookbook
The Sustainable Table is more than a cookbook. Putting faith in the old adage that the way to a persons's heart is through their stomach, Sustainable Table has developed a cookbook that not only offers delicious and inspiring recipes, but also informs people about pertinent environmental issues, and importantly, what they can do about them.
The cookbook helps Sustainable Table to accomplish one of its main objectives - to help people overcome today's environmental challenges one meal at a time. It also serves another important purpose - proceeds from book sales go towards supporting Sustainable Table's other local and international projects, including our Compost Toilets project, Local Harvest and STAR, to name a few. The cookbook allows us to continue to fund these projects and more, in order to help build a fairer food system for all.
