ABOUT GIVE A FORK!

Let’s face it – environmentalism has an image problem… it’s not seen as sexy.

Food, well that’s sexy.

Just as well food and what we put on our fork happens to be one of the most significant ways we can make a difference to our environment. We’re currently trashing the planet through the way we consume food; takeaway coffee cups, lettuce in a bag, a raw deal for farmers, double beef pattie burgers… According to the EPA, food is the biggest contributor to our ecological-footprint, at around 30%, so there’s never been a better place to start.

The Give a Fork! campaign is held during April each year and gets people thinking about the environmental and ethical impact of the food we buy, whilst bringing the sexy back into caring.

Coz we reckon it’s a whole lot sexier to take care of the planet than it is to trash it.

DINE OUT 

During the month of April, order the Give a Fork! special at a participating restaurant or cafe and raise funds to help us build a better food system, just by tucking into a delicious sustainable meal. Participating restaurants follow our 4 Food Rules to create a dish that’s healthy, fair and good for the environment.


 TAKE A #GREXY CHALLENGE

During the month of April, choose from one of three 30 days to #grexy challenges to reduce your eco impact and increase your sex appeal: Grexy TeaserHalfway to Grexyor Drop Dead Grexy and help bring sexy back to environmentalism. Share photos of you and your mates participating and show the world that taking care of the planet is way sexier than trashing it.
